I am Mrs. Hall and this is my fifteen year of teaching high school English. I absolutely love my subject area, my job and am very enthusiastic about the start of the new semester.
I am originally from Minnesota, hence the weird way I say certain words, but my family moved to Arizona when I was almost 11. I attended high school and college in Arizona. I graduated from Northern Arizona University with a degree in English education. I was fortunate in my junior year of college to attend East Carolina University as part of the National Student Exchange Program. There I met my future husband; he moved to Arizona and we were married in Phoenix. Two years later, he was offered a job in Raleigh and we moved back to NC.
This is my seventh year teaching at EWA. I started my career in Phoenix, and then I taught at East Wake High School for five years. When my children were younger, I took ten years off to be at home with them. When my son was in second grade, I decided it was a good time to go back into the classroom. I love being able to teach here at EWA.
I have two children who both attend EWA. My daughter is a senior this year, and my son is in 8th grade. Both my children have been here since kindergarten.
